This free, public meeting is for:
Directors, Volunteer Managers, Staff, Board Members, and Volunteers of
Foundations, Nonprofit Organizations, Educational Institutions, Corporations, Public Agencies.

PROGRAM:
Are you achieving maximum return on your investment in volunteers as part of your work force? This interactive session will present four key principles for increasing the impact of volunteer involvement-beyond the basics of volunteer program management-and suggest a variety of relevant, practical strategies for improving organizational capacity. Come prepared for stimulating discussion about how your organization thinks and works!

Material to be shared is being developed as part of a new Points of Light Foundation initiative focused on volunteer sector capacity building. This workshop is one of several field-testing sessions being held across the country, and you will be asked to provide feedback on the content and format of a new publication.

	The mission of Connect LA is to enable community neighborhood based organizations to meet their challenges and goals by developing and strengthening the spirit of volunteerism and collaboration in the Los Angeles area.
